Bill Pulver, CEO, Australian Rugby UnionBill Pulver is an experienced international executive who has lived and worked in Japan, UK, US and Australia across a diverse range of industry including media, research, internet, sports marketing and linguistics.

Married with four children, Mr Pulver grew up in Sydney and attended the Shore School before completing a Bachelor of Commerce / Major in Marketing at the University of NSW. He is also Chairman of The Shore Foundation.

2010 - Current: CEO of Appen Butler Hill Pty Ltd, a global leader in linguistic technology solutions.

2008 - 2010: Chairman of Repucom International Pty. Ltd, a global leader in sports marketing research and the global broadcast currency for the measurement of the sports and entertainment sponsorship.

2001 - 2007: President of NetRatings, Inc. a NASDAQ listed company (NTRT), operating in Internet Media and Market Research.

1999 - 2001: President of ACNielsen, based in London, an Internet Audience Measurement 'start-up' with operations outside the United States.

1997 - 1999: Group Chief Executive, ACNielsen Japan and Korea, based in Tokyo.

1993 - 1997: Managing Director, ACNielsen.

1980 - 1993: Employee with ACNielsen Australia.
